From farm to farm 2025
Visitors enjoyed a lovely walk on Saturday, April 26, during the "From Farm to Farm" event at the Domaine Roc de Gachonne, owned by Marie and Pascal Perche. Their children produce organic IGP Pays d'oc and AOP Languedoc wines, as well as olive oil.
Marie Perche, a lover of her land, took visitors through vineyards and olive trees to talk about grape varieties, grafted vines, different diseases, and the soil, right through to winemaking and bottling. A wine tour was followed by a tasting where Marie offered wines with easy-drinking fruit, wines aged in oak barrels, and more robust wines, as well as a beautiful late harvest that can be enjoyed with a good foie gras, and the Domaine's new product, an excellent sparkling wine. After tasting, visitors were able to stock up on festive products and olive oil from the Domaine.
Marie pointed out that the estate is listed in the France Passion book, as motorhomes can come and set up camp for free on a plot of land provided for this purpose next to the vineyards, facing a breathtaking view.
