A vineyard bathed in sunshine and history

Nestled in a clay-limestone soil typical of the South, our vineyard stretches among century-old olive trees, living witnesses to the richness and memory of the terroir. This harmony between vines and olive trees creates an ecosystem conducive to the authentic expression of the grape varieties.
We cultivate a beautiful diversity of varieties:
For the reds : Merlot, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Grenache Noir and Carignan.
For the rosés : Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault.
For whites : Chardonnay, Viognier, Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Clairette and Vermentino.

Each grape variety is worked with care, with respect for the living, to offer unique wines, faithful reflections of our sun-drenched land.

A commitment to nature and quality

Since the 2020 vintage, Domaine Roc de Gachonne has been fully committed to organic farming. This choice, guided by our deep respect for the land and its people, allows us to produce authentic wines that respect natural balances. By forgoing chemical inputs, we preserve soil life and the purity of groundwater. While yields are certainly more modest and the daily work more demanding, this is the price to pay for offering healthy, honest, and meaningful products.

A commitment of the heart, for today and for tomorrow.

Precise vinification, serving the expression of the terroir

At Domaine Roc de Gachonne, each stage of winemaking is designed to reveal the unique character of our grape varieties.

Our white and rosé wines are harvested at night, in the cool of the day, to preserve all the finesse of their aromas and their natural vibrancy. Gentle pressing precedes carefully controlled fermentation at low temperatures.

For the reds, maceration varies between 10 and 20 days depending on the desired profile, always under temperature control, before being run off and pressed. Each grape variety is vinified separately, then blended after tasting, with rigor and sensitivity. An artisanal approach that reflects our passion for wine and life.
